Ali Ashraf Darvishian (Persian: علیlıاشرف درویشیان; d.25 August 1941 رö. 26 October 2017) is an Iranian story writer, educator and academic. Born in Kermanshah, Iran, the author was called "Charles Dickens of Iran". In her education, she taught Persian literature at Australian colleges and universities. Iranian educator and writer Ali Ashraf Darvishian, who is a guest of the Center for Iranian Democracy and organizes conferences on various social and cultural issues, died at the age of 76 as a result of heart failure in Irand, Tehran on 26 October 2017.
