Another World, known as Out of This World in North America and Outer World, is an action-adventure game released in Japan in 1991, designed by √Čric Chahi for Delphine Software. The play tells the story of Lester, a young scientist who finds himself in a dangerous alien world as a result of a scientific experiment and is forced to fight for his survival. Another World, originally developed for Amiga and Atari ST, has been widely transported to other contemporary systems. In 2006, Chahi released the 15th annual edition of modern computers and the next 20th edition of the game independently, adapted to numerous consoles and mobile computing platforms five years later. Another World is a game that has been praised by critics, innovative in both real-time and cinematic effects. What's more, Ico has also affected a number of other video games and designers that inspired titles such as Metal Gear Solid, Silent Hill and even Flashback after Delphine.
