The idiopathic environmental intolerance attributed to electromagnetic fields (IN) is the term used to describe the symptoms that occur when exposed to electromagnetic fields (EMA) by default. Although electromagnetic fields have thermal effects on the body, people who identify themselves as victims due to electromagnetic hypersensitivity are responding to non-ionizing electromagnetic fields that are far behind international radiation safety standards. Symptoms of hypersensitivity to electromagnetic fields (EMADS) include headache, weakness, stress, sleep disturbance, flushing of the skin, tingling and burning sensation, muscle pain and many other health problems. Regardless of what causes them, the symptoms of EMAD are true and often affect the daily life of a person affected by it. However, it is not scientifically proven to relate EMAD symptoms to those exposed to electromagnetic fields. In the provocation tests carried out so far, it has been understood that people who define themselves as victims of hypersensitivity to electromagnetic fields do not know whether they are really exposed to the electromagnetic field. Since a regular study describing the scientific evidence that this disease did not originate from electromagnetic fields in 2005, many double-blind studies have been conducted and people who have hypersensitivity to electromagnetic fields in each of them have not been able to understand the presence of electromagnetic fields.
