Evka 3 Metro Station is a metro station located on the M1 (Fahrettin Altay-Evka 3) line of the İzmir Metro. The station was opened on 30 March 2012. It is the last station of the M1 (Fahrettin Altay-Evka 3) Line. The work for the three-station "Bornova-Bornova Central Line" on the east axis started in 2007, but one year later the work stopped. Izmir Metropolitan Municipality re-bid was reopened and the construction was resumed. However, the area between Evka 3-Bornova Center was canceled due to serious cracks in the tunnel and the surface. Ege University and Evka 3 stations, the first two stations of the line, were put into service on March 30, 2012. The Evka 3 Transfer Station located next to the station can be transferred to ESHOT and İZULAŞ buses.
