Hermann Göring

Hermann Wilhelm Göring (born January 12, 1893 in Rosenheim, Germany, on 15 October 1946 in Nuremberg, Germany) is a German politician, Nazi Germany's air force commander, a leading figure of the National Socialist Party. Until 1943, he served as minister of police and economics, and he also held the position of Reichsmarschall (imperial marshal). In 1933, he founded the German secret police Gestapo and until 1934 he served as its director.
