The Nanhua Temple (una) is a Buddhist monastery belonging to the Chan school, where the sixth grade of the Zen school lived in Hui Neng. It is located in the town of Caoxi, 25 km from Shaoguan city of Guangdong Province. The temple was first founded by an Indian priest named Zhiyao Sanzang (智 (z) in 502 AD. When it was founded, it was named after Baolin Temple (,) in 968. Later in 1934, the monastery was renovated in the monastery of Hsu Yun.
