False acacia (Robinia), Fabaceae (legumes) family of the genus Robinia spiky woody species covered with the name given. Its homeland is North America and Northern Mexico. Deciduous shrubs or trees that can be sized up to 4 .25 m. The feather leaves consist of 7-21 oval leaflets. Flowers are white or pink, drooping umbrella. Many types of shoots are prickly and hairy. In the genus, French gardener was named after Jean Robin. It was brought to Europe in 1601.
