Ivor John Allchurch (October 16, 1929, Swansea - July 10, 1997, Swansea) is a Welsh footballer . During his football career, he played for Swansea Town , Newcastle United , Cardiff City and Swansea Town. He played 68 games for the Welsh national team and was the most weary national team uniform until his passing by Joey Jones in 1986 . He was the top scorer in team history with Trevor Ford , scoring 23 goals in the national form , but this record was later left behind by 28-lead Ian Rush . Allchurch, in the 1958 FIFA World Cup , wore a Wales shirt and scored two goals in the tournament.
