Jean-Claude Colliard (born March 15, 1946, Paris - March 26, 2014, Paris) is a French jurist, academician. Jean-Claude Colliard, a lawyer like his father, is a Tintin-lover, an avid cyclist and a pipe-wand. She studied Political Science and Public Law at the Paris Law School and at the Paris Institute of Political Sciences. Between 1968-1972 he was an assistant at Paris School of Law (later he became Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne University). Since 1974, he has been a professor at the Institute for Regional Administration in Nantes and at the University of Nantes. He also served as Dean between 1980 and 1982. When he returned to Paris, he began to teach at the Sorbonne again and from 1985 to 1995 he was the Chair of the Department of Political Science. François MitterrandBetween 1981 and 1982, he was the deputy director of the Presidential cabinet and between 1982 and 1988 as the cabinet director. In the 1988 elections, the deputy was nominated from the Socialist Party , but could not be elected.
