Sinopian Markion (Greek: erkenαρ 160ν d. MS 85, ö 160), the early Christian theologian. Markion, which is an alternative to the teachings of the Roman church and which is influential in the 2nd century AD, has been accepted as heretic by the Christian Church in Rome. In his time Tertullianus of the Church Father (y. 150-223 / 225) mentions that Markionism zamanında occupies the whole world Kilise. Works written by Markion himself and his students have not survived.
The data on the Markion movement are entirely from the works of the church fathers. Hippolytus reports that Markion was the son of Sinope (now Sinop) bishop. Rhodon and Tertullian declare that he has a ship.
